Job summary

Evergreen Healthcare Group is seeking a Dietary Aide at North Cascades Health and Rehabilitation Center in Bellingham, WA. This part-time weekend role supports our dietary department with Saturday and Sunday shifts from 2 PM to 8:30 PM, offering an opportunity to grow culinary skills in a team-focused environment.

You will read production orders, place items on trays, assist with food prep, serve meals at the proper time and temperature, push carts, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards

Qualifications

• Must have Food Handlers' Permit.
• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read production orders on tray cards.
• Place items on trays (utensils, napkins, straws, condiments).
• Perform food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Serve meals on trays at proper time and temperature.
• Push carts to halls or kitchen.
• Wash dishes and clean work area.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness.

Job Summary:

North Cascades Health and Rehabilitation Center is currently looking for a Dietary Aide to join our dietary department. We are seeking a team-oriented individual who takes pride in their work. Our enhanced dining program provides culinary excellence.

Essential Functions:

• Read production orders on tray cards
• Places items, such as eating utensils, napkins, straws, condiments, and tray cards on trays.
• Performs food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Serve assigned food on trays at proper time, attractively, and at correct temperature. May help with food preparation.
• Pushes carts to halls or kitchen.
• Washes dishes and cleans work area
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Required: Food Handlers' Permit
• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety
• Interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Skill and ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.
