Description

We are seeking a full-time and part-time Dietary Aide with a flexible schedule and weekend availability. The pay rate starts at $16+ per hour, DOE. Preference is given to candidates with Skilled Nursing Facility experience.

• Follow department procedures and properly store all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Label and date all food in refrigerator, freezer, and dry storage areas.
• Ensure proper food handling and utilization to prevent contamination, enhance quality, and reduce costs.
• Suggest menu or recipe modifications to utilize leftovers and supplies efficiently.
• Clean all food service equipment, kitchen, and storage areas regularly.
• Maintain proper food temperatures during preparation and service, recording temperatures as per policy.
• Assist with tray line setup, assembling trays according to the menu, tray tickets, resident preferences, and diet orders within scheduled times.
• Check trays during service for accuracy.

Position Requirements

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 months of related experience or training.
• Knowledge of special diets is required.
