Springfield Center for Living and Rehabilitation in Vermont is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal prep, service, and cleanup for residents, ensuring a clean, safe, and satisfying dining experience. This full-time role includes every-other-weekend shifts and varying day/evening schedules.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food service or healthcare dietary experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic food handling and sanitation practices.

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods.

Position Overview:

As a Dietary Aide, you will assist in the preparation, service, and cleanup of meals for residents in accordance with dietary guidelines and facility standards. This role is key to ensuring residents enjoy a clean, safe, and satisfying dining experience every day. This is a full time, every other weekend position with varying shifts from days to evenings depending on need.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with meal preparation and food service




• Set up trays, food carts, and dining areas for meal service




• Deliver meals to residents and assist as needed




• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, dishes, and work areas




• Store food properly and monitor expiration dates




• Follow dietary restrictions and portion guidelines as instructed
