Sapphire-Health- is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation, service, and maintaining cleanliness in the dietary department. The role supports residents by providing meals that meet dietary needs and contributing to a pleasant dining experience.

The position involves a 6a-2p morning shift, includes every other weekend and holidays as scheduled, and offers benefits such as health and dental insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Healthcare or food service experience a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving meals according to diet orders and portion guidelines
• Deliver meal trays to residents and assist residents during dining when needed
• Set up and break down dining areas before and after meal service
• Maintain sanitation standards in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Label and store food properly following food safety standards
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
• Work collaboratively with dietary, nursing, and therapy staff to support resident needs
• Provide friendly and respectful customer service to residents, families, and staff
