Job summary

PACE Foodservice is seeking an entry-level Food Service Worker to assist with food preparation and serving. Under supervision, you will support all areas of food services while following safety guidelines and accommodating dietary needs of participants.

You will help with cleaning, temperature logs, and front-of-house setup, ensuring professional service and adherence to policies. Prior kitchen experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
• Proficient understanding of food allergies and modified diets.
• Knowledge of HAACP and food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Follow dietary restrictions for participants as directed by Registered Dietitians.
• Communicate allergens and texture requirements clearly to kitchen staff.
• Serve participants in a professional, courteous manner and support front-of-house operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitary procedures in all food service areas.
• Assist with deliveries, stock, and inventory while preventing waste and overrun.
• Assist with catering setups and meal distribution as needed.
