Tyson Foods in Carthage, MS is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to maintain diesel trucks and trailers at the Live Haul facility. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, safety compliance, and efficient repair work, with responsibilities spanning oil changes, greasing, tire service, and brake repairs.

The ideal candidate will hold a Mississippi driver’s license, supply their own tools, lift 60 pounds, and have 3–5 years of relevant experience plus a high school diploma or equivalent.

Formación

• Must have a Mississippi Driver’s License and pass the Yard/Lot Driver Assessment.
• Must supply your own tools for minimum maintenance.
• Must lift 60 pounds, climb stairs and ladders up to 30 feet; work in extreme conditions.
• Must read and understand Tyson policies, procedures and regulations.
• Must document information and communicate in writing and verbally.
• 6 months operator experience in the past 12 months.
• 3-5 years relevant experience to the role.
• High School diploma or equivalent including technical or vocational schooling.
• Applicants who have worked for Tyson three times will not be considered; 180 day wait.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age.
• Authorization to work in the USA and pass urinalysis screening required.
