Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. in Sarasota, FL seeks an experienced heavy-duty truck technician to diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, electrical and hydraulic systems on diesel, gasoline, and CNG trucks.

You will use factory service manuals and diagnostic tools, perform safety checks, document repairs, and communicate with drivers to minimize downtime. CDL-B preferred within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of suspension inspections, diagnosis and repair.
• Knowledge of brake system inspections, diagnosis and repair.
• Knowledge of electrical system inspection, diagnosis and repair.
• Knowledge of hydraulic system inspection, diagnosis and repair.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical problems and repair/maintain equipment to maximize safe operations.
• Communicate with managers/drivers about issues and preventive techniques.
• Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area compliant with OSHA standards.
• Use vehicle computer systems to interpret failure modes for repairs.
