Job summary

Estes Express is seeking a diesel/heavy vehicle technician in Texas responsible for repairs and preventive maintenance of diesel engines, trucks, and forklifts. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or related training preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in diesel/heavy truck repair or completion of trade school.
• Must be able to use hand tools and diagnostic/test equipment.
• CDL and MVR requirements apply if driving on public roads; FMCSA rules may apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on diesel engines, trucks and/or forklifts.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and service equipment.
• Follow FMCSA and company safety regulations; prepare safety documents as required.
• Interpret work orders and technical manuals; replace or repair defective parts.
• Test equipment after service to ensure proper performance and compliance with specs.
