Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a skilled Technician in Denton, TX to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You’ll use Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research, and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics. You’ll work with experienced supervisors and master technicians, gaining hands-on training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to solve problems and comfort using tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and outdoors.
• Basic computer skills and adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske's tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tires, lubrication, and cooling system maintenance on gas/diesel vehicles.
• Learn new skills through Penske's technician training and coaching.
• Work on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
