Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Technician at our Tucson, AZ location. You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet, helping customers keep vehicles on the road. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Good troubleshooting and ability to use common tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and outdoors.
• Basic computer skills and compliance with Penske safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance, tire rotation, lubrication, and some electrical/cooling system work on gas and diesel vehicles.
• Partner with manager to learn new skills through technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Work on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
