Ryder is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Opelika, Alabama— offering weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include maintenance and repair of heavy-duty vehicles, using diagnostic tools and shop systems, with a focus on safety and compliance. A strong background in mechanical repair and basic tools is expected, with CDL preferred. EEO and veteran support included.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines.
• Routine preventative maintenance experience is preferred.
• Valid CDL would be a plus but not required.

Responsabilités

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties on heavy-duty vehicles.
• Conducts standard vehicle maintenance and component inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Ensures compliance with safety, DOT, MOT guidelines.
• Repairs root causes and communicates with drivers to identify issues.
