Job summary

Paragon Leasing L.P. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Diesel Technician to perform preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on our fleet of Peterbilt, Kenworth, and Freightliner trucks.

You will work on engines, braking, electrical systems, and other components in a busy shop environment. Ideal candidates have 1+ years of heavy-duty diesel experience, strong reading of manuals, and basic computer skills; a valid Class C license is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of general heavy-duty diesel mechanic experience
• Valid Class C driver's license
• Ability to read and understand operating manuals, service manuals and written instruction
• Basic math calculations
• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and non-routine repairs to fleet to meet DOT standards
• Diagnose and repair diesel and gas engines
• Diagnose and repair suspension and steering systems
• Diagnose and repair air and hydraulic braking systems
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing
• Maintain a clean and safe shop environment
