Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational/Technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools, required.
• Experience with automotive gas or diesel engine repair desired.
• CDL Class A preferred; must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months if hired.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the issue.
• Ensures compliance with safety and DOT requirements.
