Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Landover, Maryland to maintain and repair heavy-duty vehicles. Expect a first shift 7:00 am–3:30 pm schedule with a Tuesday–Saturday work pattern, plus competitive hourly pay and a strong benefits package after 30 days.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required for job duties.

Aufgaben

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical/electronic problems using diagnostic computer when applicable.
• Identifies root causes and performs repairs; replaces defective components.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaint.
