Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Lansing, MI to service heavy-duty vehicles on a second shift (3:00 pm – 11:30 pm). The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, and a mix of quarterly and sign-on bonuses up to $4,000.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required/preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic equipment.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the complaint.
• Ensures compliance with safety, DOT and company guidelines.
• Performs other support duties to back up operations.
