Penske is seeking an entry-level Diesel Technician/Mechanic III in Pewaukee, WI. The role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and serves as a path to advanced certifications and growth within a large, respected fleet maintenance network.

You will gain hands-on experience with diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and a range of OEM equipment. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, with 1–2 years in repair or training backgrounds, and a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and customer service.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• The ability to solve problems and comfort using tools.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication skills.
• The ability to work well as part of a team and outside.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must understand and follow Penske policies and procedures.
• Adhere to DOT/OSHA safety policies and using PPE.
• Regular, predictable attendance is essential.
• DOT driving requirements apply; CDL holders may have additional requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers.
• Using Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs (e.g., tires) and lubrication/replacement of components; some electrical and cooling system work.
• Learn new skills with technician training and hands-on coaching from management.
• Work on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
