Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to solve problems and use tools
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Team player and able to work outdoors
• Basic computer skills
• Follow DOT/OSHA safety policies and Penske guidelines
• Background check and drug screen; DOT requirements for drivers

Responsibilities

• Maintain and keep vehicles safe for customers
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs including diagnostics
• Perform preventative maintenance (e.g., tire rotation, lubrication) on gas/diesel vehicles
• Learn new skills through Penske technician training and coaching
• Work on additional tasks as assigned by supervisor
