Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs vehicles to ensure safety for customers.
• Uses Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Performs preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication and some electrical/cooling system work on gas and diesel engines.
• Partners with your manager to learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Works on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
