Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to use tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers.
• Using Penske's tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance - tire rotation, lubrication, and maintenance on gas and diesel engines, including some electrical and cooling system work.
• Partner with your manager to learn new skills using Penske's technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Work on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
