Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a skilled Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet at the Tracy, CA facility.

You will diagnose, service, and maintain trucks, ensuring the highest safety and reliability standards while working with advanced tools and training programs. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive Penske and customer vehicles per DOT rules.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs, like tires rotation, lubrication, some electrical and cooling system maintenance.
• Partner with your manager to learn new skills via technician training and hands‑on coaching.
• Work on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
