The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and staying on the road with a focus on log keeping, diagnostics, and teamwork in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• The ability to follow instructions, use tools safely, and work with DOT/OSHA policies.

Aufgaben

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Using Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire replacement or rotation and lubrication on gas/diesel vehicles.
• Partner with supervisor to learn new skills via Penske’s technician training and coaching.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
