Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work with Penske tools and technologies.
• Commitment to safety policies (DOT, OSHA) and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure safety of vehicles for customers.
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske tools, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and component lubrication, some electrical and cooling system work.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and coaching.
• Collaborate with supervisor on additional projects and tasks.
