Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a mechanically minded Technician in Ashland, VA who will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet. You’ll use Penske tools, document work and help customers stay on the road with safe vehicles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive/diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a team and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske tools and tech.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication.
• Learn new skills through Penske training programs.
• Collaborate with management on assigned projects.
