Job summary

Penske in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a skilled Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet. You will use Penske tools, log repairs, and perform basic diagnostics while learning advanced maintenance technology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1a02 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid drivers license.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools.
• Excellent customer service & communication skills.
• Team player and able to work outdoors.
• Basic computer skills.
• Understand and comply with Penske safety policies.
• Able to pass background checks and drug screen.
• DOT/OSHA safety compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and ensuring vehicles are safe for customers.
• Log, research, and complete repairs using Penske tools, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication.
• Learn new skills via technician training and coaching.
• Work on additional projects as assigned.
