Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and outdoors.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must follow Penske safety and maintenance policies including DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicles to ensure safety and reliability for customers.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, research, and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventive maintenance and component lubrication, tire rotation, and other related tasks on gas and diesel engines.
• Learn new skills via Penske technician training and hands-on coaching with your manager.
• Collaborate with supervisors on other projects and assigned tasks.
