Penske is seeking a Technician in Birmingham, AL to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet. You’ll work with Penske tools to diagnose and repair vehicles, gaining Sandcastle‑level skills through certified training and hands-on coaching. This role offers growth and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
• Log, research, and complete repairs using Penske tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance like tire rotation and lubrication.
• Learn new skills via Penske technician training and coaching.
• Work at the Birmingham location on 2nd shift (Tue–Sat).
