Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Team player and able to work outside.
• Basic computer skills.
• Understand and follow Penske safety and maintenance policies.
• DOT compliance and background checks required.
• Willingness to travel for training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and perform preventative maintenance on vehicles.
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske tools and tech; basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventive maintenance like tire rotation and lubrication on gas/diesel engines.
• Learn new skills through Penske training and hands-on coaching.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
