Job summary

FleetPride in Fargo, ND is seeking a Diesel Technician II to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose systems, and execute repairs with limited supervision. You will service class 7 & 8 trucks, brakes, suspension, electrical, and exhaust components while maintaining safety and organization.

The position requires a Diesel Technology Associates degree and 3+ years of hands-on experience, plus welding and airbrake certification.

Qualifications

• Diesel Tech degree required.
• 3+ years of experience with class 7 & 8 trucks.
• Welding experience and airbrake certification preferred.
• Must provide hand tools and toolbox.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine damage or malfunctions.
• Provide preventative maintenance solutions when appropriate.
• Perform routine maintenance like oil changes and filter replacements.
• Repair brakes, suspension, electrical, and exhaust systems.
• Test drive vehicles and components with proper equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
