Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Technician II to diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers in a shop environment at our Texarkana service center. You will perform preventative maintenance, component replacements, and basic diagnostics with limited supervision.

The role requires experience with class 7 & 8 trucks, welding, and use of power and hand tools. Expect a fast-paced shop with safety as a priority and opportunities for training and career growth.

Qualifications

• Diesel Technology Associates degree required.
• 3+ years of experience with class 7 & 8 trucks.
• Experience repairing 53’ trailers.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction(s).
• Provide customers with preventative maintenance solution when appropriate.
• Maintain 80% productivity and prevent comebacks.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes (air, hydraulic, electric).
• Troubleshoot and repair suspension, electrical, exhaust, and steering systems.
