Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Technician II to perform preventative maintenance and repair tasks on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. You will diagnose system failures and suggest effective repairs with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include inspecting, servicing oil changes, brake work, and component repairs, while maintaining safety and productivity. The role requires tool ownership on-site and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Diesel technology degree or equivalent training.
• Multiple years of hands-on experience with heavy-duty trucks.
• Experience repairing long trailers (53’).

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to determine damage and plan repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine services.
• Repair brakes, steering, suspension, exhaust, and fuel systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and HVAC components.
• Operate and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
