Job summary

FleetPride in Hastings, NE seeks a Technician II to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose vehicle systems, and carry out basic and advanced repairs with limited supervision.

You will inspect vehicles, perform routine services like oil changes and brake work, and ensure safety and quality while maintaining productivity. This role includes paid training, a comprehensive benefits package, and tools provided.

Qualifications

• Diesel technology degree or diploma required.
• 3+ years of experience with class 7 & 8 trucks.
• Experience repairing 53’ trailers.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction.
• Provide preventative maintenance solutions when appropriate.
• Maintain 80% productivity and prevent comebacks.
• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications and filter replacements.
• Repair brakes, suspensions, electrical systems, and related components.
• Test drive and diagnose vehicle systems to ensure proper repairs.
