Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Mobile Technician II to expertly perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. The role includes shop work between service calls and potential after-hours on-call rotation.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years repairing class 7 & 8 trucks, welding experience, and air brake certification; a High School diploma or GED is required, with Diesel Technology certification as a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Diesel tech certificate preferred.
• 3+ years of experience repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers; welding; Air Brake Certified.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction.
• Provide preventative maintenance solutions.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Repair brakes (air, hydraulic, electric and brake accessories).
• Troubleshoot electrical, exhaust, steering, and suspension systems.
• Test drive vehicles and verify repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and service truck.
