Job summary

Penske is seeking an experienced Technician II to perform preventive maintenance and major/minor repairs on a diverse fleet in Raleigh, NC. You will diagnose issues, log repairs, and mentor newer technicians while learning Penske’s advanced maintenance processes.

You will work with a variety of OEM equipment, benefit from on-site training, and have opportunities for career growth. A valid driver's license and DOT safety expectations apply.

Qualifications

• 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting major components (engines, transmissions, differentials).
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers with minimal supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot major components (engines, transmissions, differentials).
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log and complete repairs including diagnostics.
