Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Shop Diesel Technician II to help support our nationwide mobile and shop services. You'll perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, light and follow-up repairs, and diagnostics under supervision to advance your skills.

We require a High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of related experience or 5 years in a related field, plus a valid driver's license. ASE certifications are preferred; a safety-conscious, detail-oriented technician thrives here.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED; 3 years' related field experience required, or 5 years alternative.
• Valid state driver's license and ability to obtain required credentials.
• Ability to perform DOT inspections and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light to heavy repairs in shop.
• Use diagnostic tools and coordinate with parts and service writers.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and document work on RO/Karmak.
• Adhere to safety, OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations; travel as needed.
• Assist in diagnostics under supervision of senior technicians.
