Job summary

Penske is seeking an experienced Technician in Omaha to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet. You will lead at the location, show mentoring and independent work, and handle major and minor repairs with emphasis on safety and reliability.

You will train in Penske's maintenance processes, benefit from advanced tech, and enjoy location flexibility and ongoing career growth within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor‑trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Maintaining vehicles to ensure safety for customers.
• Performing preventive maintenance on truck and trailer equipment with little supervision.
• Repairing and troubleshooting major components (engines, transmissions and differentials).
• Keeping work area clean and safe and logging repairs with Penske tools and diagnostics.
• Learning new skills through Penske's technician training.
• Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
