TravelCenters of America is seeking a Diesel Technician to join our Truck Service team in a fast-paced environment. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers with professionalism and accuracy.

You will work in a team-focused setting, adhere to safety guidelines, and communicate effectively with customers and managers. The role supports flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and offers opportunities for growth with company-paid training.

Qualifications

• Dedicated individual who works well with others
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in repair or parts shop preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays
• A valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on providing great service where the expectations of the customer are exceeded
• Have extensive knowledge of the products we sell and the services we provide
• Diagnose wear conditions and together with TSA or Manager, makes recommendations to customers
• Complete repairs within their capabilities and as written
• Understand Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs
• Follow safety guidelines and reports potentially unsafe situations caused by team members and/or customers.
