W.W. Williams is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to accurately troubleshoot, repair, and diagnose routine maintenance and emergency services for diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks. You will collaborate with other technicians to ensure work is performed safely and meets customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of diesel repair and maintenance experience in a heavy truck/fleet dealership or shop environment.
• Strong working knowledge of multiple systems (A/C, brake, emission, air), diagnostics, and troubleshooting diesel engines.
• Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality repairs and maintenance on diesel engines/heavy duty trucks as specified in manufacturer procedures.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork (work orders, state and emission inspections).
• Diagnose vehicle failures by disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts.
• Adhere to all company and industry safety standards.
• Inspect vital parts to ensure proper operating conditions.
• Create a job repair plan based on diagnosis.
