Job summary

W.W. Williams in Ohio seeks a skilled Diesel Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and diagnose routine maintenance and emergency services for diesel engines and heavy duty trucks.

You will collaborate with fellow technicians to ensure work is completed safely and to the customer's satisfaction. Responsibilities include performing quality repairs, completing required paperwork, diagnosing failures, and adhering to safety standards while supporting a broad range of power products and services

Qualifications

• 3+ years of diesel repair and maintenance experience in a heavy truck/fleet dealership or shop environment.
• Strong working knowledge of multiple systems (A/C, brake, emission, air) and diesel engine diagnostics.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality repairs and maintenance on diesel engines/heavy duty trucks as per manufacturer procedures.
• Complete paperwork on work orders and state/emission inspections in a timely manner.
• Diagnose vehicle failures by disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts.
• Adhere to company and industry safety standards.
