Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Technician in Martinsville, VA. You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet, using Penske tools and training to keep vehicles on the road.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well with a team and outdoors.
• DOT/OSHA safety policy understanding required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and ensures vehicles are safe for customers.
• Logs, researches and completes repairs using Penske tools and technologies.
• Performs preventive maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication on gas/diesel engines.
• Learns new skills through Penske’s technician training and coaching.
• Performs additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
