Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Diesel Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy duty trucks and trailers at our TA Truck Service locations. You will work in a fast-paced environment focused on safety and customer service, with opportunities for growth and advancement within TA.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.
• Previous repair or parts shop experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team-focused environment delivering great service.
• Diagnose wear conditions and, with TSA or Manager, make recommendations to customers.
• Complete repairs within capabilities and as written.
• Understand Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs.
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations.
