TravelCenters of America is seeking a Diesel Technician to service heavy-duty trucks and trailers across our nationwide locations. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair to ensure travelers return to the road safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• A dedicated individual who works well with others.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in repair or parts shop preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.
• A valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on providing great service where the expectations of the customer are exceeded.
• Have extensive knowledge of the products we sell and the services we provide.
• Diagnose wear conditions and, with TSA or Manager, make recommendations to customers.
• Complete repairs within their capabilities and as written.
• Understand Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs.
• Follow safety guidelines and reports potentially unsafe situations.
