Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. in Coxsackie, NY is seeking a Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet, using Penske tools and diagnostic equipment.

You'll work with experienced supervisors, receive industry‑leading training, and have the opportunity for growth and long‑term stability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1-2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and diagnose issues.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work in a team and follow safety rules.
• Must comply with DOT/OSHA policies and Penske safety standards.
• Pass pre-employment screenings including drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicle safety for customers.
• Log, research, and complete repairs using Penske tools and diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and component lubrication/ replacement.
• Handle basic electrical and cooling system maintenance on gas/diesel engines.
• Collaborate with supervisor to learn new skills and training.
