Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude with 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to solve problems and use basic tools
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Teamwork and ability to work outdoors
• Basic computer skills
• Follow Penske policies and safety rules (DOT/OSHA)
• DOT drug screening for CDL holders and FMCSA checks
• Willingness to travel locally for training

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicles and ensure safety for customers
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics
• Perform preventive maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication, some electrical and cooling system work
• Learn new skills through supervisor training and Penske certification program
• Handle additional projects as assigned by supervisor
