Rush Truck Centers is seeking a skilled Rush Technician in Dalhart, TX. You will provide technical service to vehicles, perform general and detailed repairs on trucks and engines, overhaul engines, install components, and read job orders to diagnose and plan work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years’ experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Valid driver license meeting insurability guidelines.
• Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins and/or ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Repair trucks, engines and components; overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Install parts and perform planned maintenance per job orders.
• Read orders, diagnose malfunctions and plan work procedures.
• Maintain safety standards and inspect equipment for issues.
• Build positive relationships with customers and participate in training.
