Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; valid driver's license and legal right to work in the United States.
• Minimum 1 year experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing trucks and stationary equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance tasks based on driver pre- and post-trip inspections in a timely manner or as directed by maintenance manager.
• Maintains diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements and makes appropriate corrections when needed.
• Troubleshoots reported problems and resolves them in a timely manner.
• Builds and assembles machines or mechanical components according to requirements.
• Performs accurate lockout/tagout procedures.
• Runs diagnostic tests on vehicles and analyzes results to problem solve; test drives vehicles to diagnose malfunctions when necessary.
• Performs necessary procedures to ensure maximum reliability and safety of equipment operators including preventive maintenance inspections, tire changes, brake changes, and replacement of hydraulic components.
• Participates in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge and perform duties to support company vision.
