Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Diesel Technician in Nebraska. You will troubleshoot, repair and maintain diesel vehicles, assist drivers with roadside services, and perform preventative maintenance in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift 75+ pounds, with a rotating schedule between day and night. DOT medical card must be obtainable; Love's provides support for certification and career development.

Qualifications

• Experience with diesel truck or automotive repairs is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Move and lift 75+ pounds; work in close quarters and various temperatures.
• Always prioritize customer safety and satisfaction per company policies.
• Work a rotating day/night schedule as needed.
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).
