Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Technicians to join our team in a fast-paced shop environment. You will troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, assist customers with roadside services, and perform preventative maintenance to keep vehicles and equipment in top condition.

The role requires safety-conscious work, ability to lift 75+ pounds, and a rotating day/night schedule. Love's covers DOT medical card costs and offers a strong benefits package including tuition support and 401(k)

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues (wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, engine components).
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Move, lift 75+ pounds; work in varying temperatures
• Follow safety policies & procedures to ensure customer safety & satisfaction
• Work a rotating day/night schedule
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's)
