Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Technicians to maintain clean facilities and assist drivers, ensuring safety and satisfaction. You will troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with roadside services while delivering friendly customer experiences.

Applicants must be able to lift 75+ pounds, work in various temperatures, and rotate between day and night shifts. DOT medical card can be obtained with Love's support.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Move and lift 75+ pounds in close quarters and work in varying temperatures
• Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction while following safety policies and procedures
• Work a rotating schedule that includes day and night shifts as needed
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
