Job summary

Love's Travel Stops hires Diesel Technicians to maintain and repair diesel equipment in a fast-paced environment while helping customers and drivers.

You'll troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and work rotating day/night shifts. Candidates should be able to lift 75+ pounds and follow all safety policies. Qualifications

• Experience with light mechanical repair is preferred.
• Ability to interact with customers and drivers in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Move and lift 75+ pounds in close quarters and work in various temperatures.
• Follow safety policies to ensure customer safety and satisfaction.
• Work rotating day/night shifts as needed.
• Possess ability to obtain a DOT medical card (paid by Love’s).
