Love’s Travel Stops is hiring a Diesel Technician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair light mechanical issues, and assist drivers and customers with roadside services. The role requires physical ability to lift 75+ pounds and operate in varying temperatures, with a DOT medical card obtainable and company-paid.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues (wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, engine components).
• Assist customers with roadside services and provide preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures
• Always put safety and satisfaction of customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
